May 2026
Work Session – Saturday, May 2 at 10:00 am at Fantasyland/Lions Community Park on Commerce Ave, across from Wendy’s. We will be pruning trees, so bring tools and gloves. There are multiple parking areas, but we recommend carpooling when possible.
Monthly Meeting at Samuels Public Library – Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:00 pm in White Meeting Room A.
Work Session – Saturday, May 30, at 10:00 am at Happy Creek Arboretum, off of Commerce Ave, across from the flea market. We will be planting 12 native trees and shrubs, mulching, and removing the English Ivy from several trees. Please bring pruners, rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows.

GardenFest on June 6, 2026, at Belle Grove Plantation from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The event features: Plants for sale, vendors, an “Ask A Master Gardener” information booth for all your gardening questions, Second Hand Rose (rummage sale), tool sharpening and children’s activities Learn More Here
